Self Fund Health is seeking a Software Engineer to iterate on our fleet of LLM-powered agents and tooling. You will design agent logic, build tools, and integrate APIs and MCP servers while aligning with healthcare workflows.

The role is remote within the United States. It requires mid-career experience with LLM-based development, production systems, and a practical healthcare perspective to ship releasable software and support cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Mid-career software engineer with production systems experience.
• Proficient in LLM-based development and agentic systems.
• Experience with LLM coding assistants and production-grade code.
• Healthcare domain literacy and familiarity with health plans.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship AI agents and multi-agent workflows.
• Curate agent tooling, data feeds, and APIs for context and execution.
• Ground healthcare domain concepts for agent reliability.
• Ensure monitoring, guardrails, and security for production agents.
• Collaborate with clinical, operations, and sales teams to automate workflows.
