Job summary

MedTrainer, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - AI to design, build, and operate LLM-powered features that deliver real value for healthcare organizations.

You will work with LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings and agent workflows, turning prototypes into production systems while ensuring cost efficiency, security, and HIPAA awareness. You will collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Data/IT to set success metrics, establish AI engineering best practices, and push responsible AI guidelines across

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year building and operating LLM/ML-powered features in production.
• Experience in structured Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Advanced English skills are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship LLM-powered features (assistants, intelligent search, summarization, content and document generation).
• Build and tune retrieval-augmented generation pipelines with embeddings and vector search.
• Create agents and internal AI tooling to automate processes across teams.
• Own prompt engineering, eval datasets, and regression tests for quality gates.
• Develop Python services and APIs; deploy with Docker/Kubernetes, integrate with Azure/AWS.
• Apply HIPAA-aware data handling and guardrails; ensure responsible AI practices.
