Job summary

UST is seeking a mid-level AI Developer to design, build, and deploy agentic systems powering healthcare payer solutions. You will craft production-grade Python services, orchestrate LLM-based workflows, and integrate with Databricks/Snowflake data layers in a regulated environment.

Role emphasizes secure data handling, CI/CD, observability, and collaboration with compliance, data, and product teams. Remote-US role with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional software/AI development experience with agentic or multi-agent systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS AgentCore or similar agent orchestration frameworks.
• Strong Python skills for API/service development and LLM framework integration.
• Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake for data access and pipelines.
• Understanding of data security, HIPAA/compliance in enterprise settings.
• Good fundamentals in version control, testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agentic and multi-agent AI applications on AWS.
• Develop production-grade Python services and data pipelines for LLM-based agents.
• Build and maintain data access layers on Databricks/Snowflake.
• Ensure data security, access control, PHI/PII handling, and audit logging.
• Deploy, monitor, and operate AI services with CI/CD and observability.
• Collaborate with data/ML engineers, product owners, and compliance teams.
• Write clean, well-tested code and contribute reusable components.
• Troubleshoot issues across the AI application stack.
