The role emphasizes post-training, RLHF/RLAIF, and planning for complex workflows, with collaboration across Engineering and Data Science teams. Remote-friendly with strong research execution.

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in machine learning, statistics, and experimental design.
• PhD-level depth in modern ML research or equivalent mastery.
• Experience training generative models and LLMs.
• Expertise in reinforcement learning and post-training techniques.
• Experience building agentic systems and retrieval/memory management.
• Proficiency with GPUs, PyTorch, and LLM stacks.

Responsibilities

• Work at the intersection of AI and Threat Research.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to understand analyst workflows.
• Post-train LLMs and agents with RLHF/RLAIF to automate tasks.
• Design AI agents and complex workflows with planning and retrieval.
• Prototype state-of-the-art methods and benchmark rigor.
• Optimize prompts and inference for model efficiency.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Data Science, and Managed Services.
