CrowdStrike is seeking a Data Scientist to join our AI/ML team, focusing on safe and scalable AI capabilities for cybersecurity. You will collaborate with engineers, researchers, and product managers to provide technical leadership and hands-on innovation.

You will shape the technical vision for GenAI agents, mentor junior scientists, and drive end-to-end research from data sourcing to production deployment in a remote-capable environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or Masters in CS/DS or related field.
• 5+ years of applied ML/research with production-grade models.
• Deep expertise in LLM training or deployment at scale.
• Strong leadership and mentoring experience.
• Proficient in Python and DL frameworks; cloud familiarity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI safety and cyber-detection solutions.
• Lead end-to-end R&D: data sourcing, labeling, modeling, evaluation.
• Collaborate with product and engineering for usable solutions.
• Mentor Data Scientists and set technical direction.
• Drive GenAI strategy and publish externally.
