CrowdStrike is seeking a Data Scientist to advance the next generation of AI/ML technologies. You will collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product managers to lead hands-on development and align technical strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of applied machine learning / research experience, with production-grade models
• Deep expertise in LLM training or deployment at scale
• Strong technical leadership, including mentoring teams and driving strategy
• Advanced knowledge of Python, DL frameworks, and cloud technologies
• Expert-level understanding of GPU technologies and optimization
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders
• Track record of solving complex technical challenges at scale

Responsibilities

• Develop clever, innovative AI safety and cyber detection solutions
• Lead end-to-end R&D: data sourcing, labeling, modeling, evaluation, and product-ready engineering collaboration
• Collaborate with product and engineering to design fit-for-purpose, maintainable solutions
• Drive innovation in LLM research and deployment with security experts
• Balance accuracy, efficiency and cost in deployed AI/ML models
• Shape GenAI architecture, training, and deployment strategies; guide research strategy
• Mentor Data Scientists and promote engineering excellence
• Align technical plans with business goals and publish thought leadership
