Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience shipping production code with a track record of owning end-to-end projects.
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript skills.
• Experience building and consuming APIs at scale — REST, auth flows, pagination, rate limits, and real-world integrations.
• Desire to build parts of a stack that don't exist yet and comfort with unknowns.
• LLM application experience — prompting, retrieval, tool use, or agent design.
• A testing mindset — tests and evals that catch real failures, not just green checkmarks.
• Comfort with ambiguity — early team, expanding charter, decisions with incomplete data.
• Stop-at-nothing energy to get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Build the systems that build systems, including dedicated agent harnesses and agents-as-tools.
• Take a job to be done and own delivering it—Arcade Engine changes, MCP, or new services.
• Create toolkits and abilities by turning APIs into tools, skills, or agent capabilities.
• Fix rough edges when agents hit walls, scalable for many customers.
• Maintain and improve the existing catalog, fix breakages, and keep quality high.
• Build next-generation evaluation and testing for abilities across agents and surfaces.
• Engage with and push the MCP ecosystem and evolving standards for agent tools.
