Job summary

Adobe Inc. is seeking a hands-on AI Agent Engineer to develop, build, and maintain intelligent agents that automate business workflows across the enterprise.

You will own the full lifecycle from design to versioning, orchestration, and continuous learning, scaling AI strategies by engineering reusable components and optimizing agent workflows. This role focuses on production-ready systems, prompt engineering, and integration with tools and data pipelines to deliver real-world impact.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering and backend development.
• Production exposure to LLM APIs or AI-powered services.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or vector databases.
• Ability to measure and improve model solve rates and accuracy.
• Strong engineering fundamentals (Python, REST).
• Experience with event streaming (Kafka, Flink, Kinesis, or similar) and data pipelines (Spark, Databricks, or comparable).
• Familiarity with production operations: Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), REST APIs, Python, and containerization (Docker, K8s).

Responsibilities

• Build scalable Agentic AI platforms that empower developers and accelerate AI adoption.
• Create reusable agent templates and modular components for rapid deployment.
• Productionize AI models from prototypes to production-ready systems.
• Develop autonomous agents and skills for tasks like code generation and tool calling.
• Optimize model performance, reduce latency, and improve reliability.
• Implement prompt engineering strategies, memory handling, resource management and tool-calling integrations.
