Job summary

The company for Government team seeks an Account Director to own a portfolio of state and local government accounts, driving AI adoption and revenue growth. You will collaborate with researchers, engineers, and solution strategists to deliver value and scale impact across agencies.

You will travel regularly to engage customers and partners, with a hybrid work model in Washington, DC, or San Francisco, and relocation assistance for new hires.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience selling enterprise technology solutions to state and local government customers.
• Track record of achieving annual revenue targets exceeding $2 million in state/local government accounts.
• Experience designing and executing complex deal strategies, including state procurement, cooperative purchasing, RFPs, and government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of strategic state and local government accounts and develop comprehensive account plans.
• Lead government customers through their AI adoption journeys from initial consideration to deployment.
• Partner with Solutions and Research Engineering to build and execute complex customer programs.
• Own and manage a consumption revenue target and forecast.
• Build executive relationships with state CIOs, agency leaders, and procurement stakeholders.
