Job summary

Siemens Energy's Aero Gas Turbine (AGT) Controls Field Service Representative for Region North America is based in the United States. You will work with the Gas Turbine Field Service Manager to commission and service AGT A05, A20, A35 and A65 control systems, and may cross-train with related product families.

As the primary technical contact at customer sites, you will energize equipment, load software, perform loop checks and calibrations, report progress, and coordinate with engineering to

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree or 5–7 years of direct related experience with instrumentation, control systems and PLCs.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix systems preferred in power generation or oil & gas industries.

Responsibilities

• Energize equipment, load software, and establish communications on PLC/HMI platforms; perform loop checks and calibrations.
• Act as primary technical liaison at customer sites and report progress to clients and Siemens teams.
• Coordinate with engineering to implement changes and maintain system backups; travel as required (up to 70%).
