Job summary

Siemens Energy, based in the United States, seeks an Aero Gas Turbine (AGT) Controls Field Service Representative in Region North America. You will lead commissioning and service of AGT A05, A20, A35 and A65 control systems, cross-training with related families, and act as the technical liaison at customer sites.

Responsibilities include energizing equipment, loading software, performing loop checks, reporting progress, and preparing detailed technical reports.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree or 5–7 years related experience with instrumentation and control systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix in power generation or oil and gas preferred.
• Willingness to travel ~70% domestically and occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Energize equipment, load software, and establish communication on PLC platforms.
• Perform loop checks, calibrations, and fix field end devices.
• Interact with customer and Siemens teams to report progress and identify services.
• Resolve complex problems and coordinate engineering changes as needed.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and backups of system software.
