Job summary

The Aero Gas Turbine (AGT) Controls Field Service Representative position in the United States focuses on AGT A05, A20, A35 and A65 controls systems during commissioning and service. You will be the primary technical liaison at customer sites, coordinating with management, sales, and engineering as needed.

Based in the United States, you will load software, perform system checks, and resolve complex issues while traveling for extended periods.

Qualifications

• A 4-year engineering degree OR a minimum of 5-7 years of related experience with instrumentation, control systems and PLCs.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix in power generation or oil and gas is preferred.
• Willingness to travel on average 70% domestically and occasionally internationally.
• Valid driver's license and passport or ability to obtain both.
• Previous AGT gas turbine controls training/certification or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Energize equipment, load software, and configure PLC/HMI systems across multiple platforms.
• Perform loop checks, calibrations, and service during installation or outages.
• Report progress, coordinate with engineering, and prepare technical reports for customers.
• Travel extensively, including international assignments, with ability to work day/night shifts.
