Job summary

Nutrien is hiring for a sales-focused role in Winthrop, MN. You’ll develop new prospects and deepen relationships with growers to meet and exceed sales goals, while ensuring on-time delivery and product quality.

Responsibilities include building strategies to sell proprietary products, assessing credit risk, and managing accounts receivable, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and team collaboration within Nutrien Ag Solutions.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred; in lieu, 5+ years agriculture experience and high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years experience using standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the agriculture industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with existing growers to increase agricultural inputs sales to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Assure customer satisfaction of products including on-time and accurate delivery and quality of product.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe appropriate actions to resolve issues.
• Perform initial credit review of customers to understand credit risk.
• Collect outstanding accounts receivables from customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
