Job summary

Simplot Company in Oregon seeks an experienced Crop Advisor to support growers by selling crop nutrition, crop protection, seed, specialty, technology and other agronomic products, while providing consultative services. Under the Market Manager, you will grow the customer base in a defined area, collaborate with Region Managers, and ensure delivery, billing, and credit matters are handled efficiently.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in agricultural sciences or related field, or 5+ years in agriculture.
Demonstrated focus on customer service and meeting expectations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented.
Self-driven, customer service oriented, and a good team player.
Local Ag community relationships are highly desired.

Responsibilities

Promote Simplot brand and grow a defined customer base to meet sales goals.
Identify product and service opportunities and provide consultative agronomic advice.
Collaborate with Crop Advisors and managers to increase profits and relationships.
Coordinate with operations to ensure delivery and billing are handled properly.
Maintain customer agronomic records and assist with credit matters.
