Job summary

The Simplot Company, a global food and agriculture leader, is seeking a Grower Solutions Crop Advisor in Alachua, FL. You will provide customer service to growers through sales of crop nutrition, crop protection, seed, specialty and technology products, under the guidance of the Area Sales Manager.

You will grow a defined customer base, pursue opportunities, and collaborate with Region/Market Managers to meet targets and ensure delivery and billing quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from 4 year college or university preferred.
• Required proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service focus and strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Promote Simplot brand and grow a defined customer base to meet sales targets.
• Identify product opportunities and advise customers with agronomic recommendations.
• Collaborate with Crop Advisors to increase knowledge and profits.
• Coordinate with Operations on delivery, billing and service outcomes.
• Maintain customer agronomic and financial records with the Area Financial Services Manager.
