Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Crop Advisor for Simplot Grower Solutions to provide customer service and consultative agronomic guidance to growers. You will promote crop nutrition, crop protection, seed, and technology, while supporting regional sales and profitability goals.

Reporting to the Market Manager, you will manage a defined customer base, identify opportunities, and collaborate with operations and financial services to ensure accurate delivery and billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience considered.
• 1-3 years of similar experience in the industry is required.
• Required computer skills include knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Promote and live the Simplot brand as the best-in-class Agricultural distributor; grow new business and manage a customer base to meet sales and gross margin targets.
• Seek opportunities for current customers and market products to growers by making sales calls and providing consultative services.
• Collaborate with other Crop Advisors to increase knowledge, develop sales, and manage customer relationships.
• Regularly interface with Region/Market Managers to execute market strategies and report sales trends.
