Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. in Indiana is seeking Crop Technician Interns to perform crop diagnostics, scouting fields, collect tissue samples, conduct UAV flights, and assist with field signage.

Interns will travel extensively within the territory, gain hands-on experience in agronomy, data collection, and reporting to the Ag Tech team; valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required; currently enrolled in college.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Currently pursuing an agronomy degree or related field.
• Valid driver's license, driving record, and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Scout fields and create reports on weeds, insects, diseases, and growth stages.
• Perform UAV flights to collect imagery and data.
• Collect corn or soybean tissue samples and prepare for testing.
• Conduct soil moisture probes and report results to the Ag Tech team.
• Collect soil samples and install moisture monitoring equipment.
• Place and remove field signs; travel 100% within the territory; attend trainings and events.
