Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. seeks Crop Technician Interns to perform crop diagnostic tasks across the growing season, including scouting fields, tissue sampling, soil moisture probes, UAV flights, and assisting with field signs to support timely decisions.

You will work 75% in fields and 25% in training or events, travel the territory 100%, and must be able to work outdoors in all weather, with a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle; agronomy students preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in accredited college/university.
• Interest in agronomy or agricultural field.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Willingness to travel 100% in the territory.
• Able to use an iPad, GPS, and field equipment.

Responsibilities

• Scouting: create reports on weeds, insects, diseases, growth stages and field anomalies.
• UAV Flights: perform drone observations, imagery, and data collection.
• Tissue and soil sampling: collect samples for testing and analysis.
• Soil moisture probing: test soils and report data for irrigation decisions.
• Field signs: organize, place, and remove field signs.
