Job summary

Evergreen FS is seeking an Agronomy Associate in Roanoke, IL. You will train across the agronomy department, engage in sales and operations, and develop territory insights to grow market share.

The role includes coordinating agronomy programs and collaborating with Crop Specialists on trials and projects. Qualifications include an Associates degree, 1–2 years of related experience, and a willingness to obtain CDL, CCA, and Commercial Applicator certifications.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in agriculture or business related field with some sales exposure.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to obtain CDL within first year and obtain CCA and Commercial Applicator certifications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training across agronomy sales and operations.
• Develop territory and competitive insights to support sales.
• Meet goals set by supervisor.
• Assist with agronomy programs for targeted accounts to grow business.
• Support use of seed, precision farming tech, and marketing tools.
• Collaborate with Crop Specialists on projects and trials.
• Develop marketing plans and conduct client meetings to drive sales.
• Provide customer service by coordinating deliveries, soil tests, and scouting.
