Job summary

Evergreen FS, Inc. is seeking graduates with an Associate's degree in agriculture or related fields to join our agronomy team.

You will train across sales and operations, study the market, and learn to propose targeted agronomy programs for clients while using seed, precision farming tech, and marketing tools to expand market share. Daily travel and occasional overnight stays are expected, with potential CDL training within the first year.

Qualifications

• Associates’ Degree in agriculture, marketing or business; 1–2 years of business-related work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Daily travel within territory with occasional overnight stays.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
• Willing to obtain CDL license within first year.
• Ability to obtain Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) and Commercial Applicator certifications.
• Occasionally exposed to extreme weather and lifting 51–75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Train in all aspects of the agronomy department, including sales and operations.
• Develop territory and competitive analysis to learn the marketplace and competition.
• Meet goals as established by supervisor.
• Create and recommend agronomy programs for targeted accounts to grow agronomy business.
• Utilize seed, precision farming technology, finance and other marketing tools to grow market share.
• Collaborate with Crop Specialist on agronomy projects (hybrid/variety trials, MiFIELD trials).
• Develop target marketing plans and train on professional sales techniques and contact management.
• Assist with patron meetings to develop customer relationships and drive sales.
• Operate application equipment and related tasks.
• Support with soil testing, crop scouting and other programs.
• Attend meetings and training sessions.
