Job summary

Syngenta is seeking a Golden Harvest Sales Representative in East Central South Dakota to drive growth in a broad portfolio of hybrids. You will recruit, train, and guide a network of professional resellers, while delivering customer-focused consultative selling and territory planning.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in Agriculture or related field with 2+ years in sales, strong negotiation skills, and a willingness to live in the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or a degree in a non-Agriculture discipline with significant farming industry background or commensurate experience.
• 2+ years in sales or sales leadership with ability to work independently on a virtual team, agricultural sales experience preferred.
• Strong customer focus and demonstrated sales and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide access to a broadhybrid portfolio of hybrids.
• Recruit, develop, and manage a team of professional resellers.
• Consultative selling and trusted adviser to customers.
• Deliver plans to targeted customers through channel partners.
• Coach Seed Advisors on product placement to improve satisfaction.
• Manage territory budget, selling expenses, and marketing funds within guidelines.
• Develop territory business and Seed Advisor plans identifying opportunities and tactics.
