Job summary

AgWest Farm Credit in Imperial, California seeks a Relationship Manager I–III to support lending and related services for farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness customers. You will visit operations, assess financials, and help structure loans within delegated authority.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s in business/economics/finance, strong communication and credit assessment skills, and a willingness to travel up to 25% within the western territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or equivalent.
• Ability to read audited financial statements, tax records and other financials.
• Ability to establish rapport with customers and prospective customers.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate terms for small to mid-size relationships.
• Ability to travel to perform required duties.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Market and sell loans and related services; build customer rapport.
• Visit customers’ operations and document observations for loan suitability.
• Make credit decisions within delegated authority to ensure quality portfolios.
• Monitor loan performance and service assigned accounts to maximize return.
• Prepare credit analysis and submit recommendations to supervisor or loan committee.
• Gather financial information from interviews and documents; ensure compliance.
• Assist in credit investigations and participate in loan closings.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure timely portfolio transfers and customer service.
• Represent AgWest Farm Credit and engage with agricultural groups and events.
• Perform duties per company policies and internal controls.
