Job summary

AgWest Farm Credit is seeking a Relationship Manager I, II, or III in Tulare, California to support lending and related services for agricultural customers. This full-time role reports to the SVP, Portfolio Manager and involves travel, credit analysis, and customer coaching across a seven-state Western region.

The position offers relocation if eligible, a base salary with incentive potential, and benefits. You will engage with customers to drive profitable credit solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or equivalent.
• Ability to read audited financial statements, tax records and other financials.
• Ability to establish rapport with customers and prospective customers.
• Ability to negotiate terms for low to mid-size relationships, verbally and in writing.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Market and sell loans and related services while building customer rapport.
• Visit customers' operations and assess loan collateral and management practices.
• Make quality credit decisions to maintain a strong loan portfolio.
• Monitor loan performance and service assigned accounts to maximize returns.
• Prepare credit analysis and obtain approvals within authority.
• Gather financial information from interviews and documents.
• Assist in credit investigations and loan closings.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure timely portfolio transfers.
