Job summary

AgWest Farm Credit is seeking an Insurance Processor I or II (Insurance Specialist) to join the Washington Lending and Insurance team in Wenatchee or Moses Lake. This full-time role supports accurate data entry, regulatory compliance, and strong customer service for insurance products.

The position offers base salary with incentive potential and requires an insurance license within six months, with relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related work experience in insurance or general office functions.
• Ability to input and maintain accurate data across multiple systems while ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Understanding of agriculture and insurance services.
• Strong administrative and customer service skills.
• Ability to build relationships and work with customers, outside parties and colleagues.
• Proven ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Solid computer skills including MS Office applications.
• Ability to read, write and present general business information.

Responsibilities

• Gather customer/applicant information to complete required applications, documents or reports.
• Accurately key and adjust verified customer information for review by agents.
• Monitor follow-up requirements in assigned areas.
• Comply with regulations and procedures in completion of documents.
• Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, and answering calls.
• Maintain data integrity by keeping databases accurate.
• Maintain crop insurance education and participate in trainings.
• Refer media inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Adhere to counterparty and vendor management protocols.
