Lang Diesel in Hillsboro, KS is seeking an energetic Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and manage a high-performing team. You will ensure inventory accuracy, uphold safety and company policies, and deliver exceptional customer service.

This role reports to the General Manager, oversees the Store, Service and Parts, recruits and develops staff, and partners with customers and vendors to achieve profitability and a strong market reputation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum of five-years progressive management experience in farm equipment store operations is required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle records check, and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Overall performance of the Store, Service and Parts Department including meeting sales, gross margin, and P&L goals as defined in the profit plan.
• Manage relationships with customers and maintain the store’s reputation in the local market.
• Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and direction to staff and department managers to achieve goals.
• Follow company policies and ensure lawful and ethical operations.
• Oversee facility management including property upkeep, security, and store appearance.
• Recruit, hire, train, discipline and manage staffing within budget.
• Inform General Manager of any issues in a timely manner.
• Attend required meetings as scheduled.
