Job summary

Linder Turf & Tractor is seeking a Sales Representative to expand and manage our agricultural and construction equipment customer base. You will drive sales, nurture relationships, and ensure high satisfaction through product knowledge and effective communication.

Responsibilities include prospecting, presenting product benefits, staying current on the full line of equipment, and coordinating credit and delivery tasks while representing the company at industry events and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Must have agricultural/construction sales experience with equipment sales preferred.
• Strong time management abilities.
• Clear and concise written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and Sales: Identify new sales prospects and assess how agricultural and construction products can meet their needs.
• Presentations: Showcase the benefits of agricultural and construction products to potential customers, highlighting their features and advantages.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the full line of products, including their features, benefits, and updates.
• Market Awareness: Monitor and analyze competitive products and activities within the territory; stay up to date with market trends and communicate relevant information to management.
• Financing Options: Keep current with available financing options and assist customers in understanding these options.
• Data Management: Document customer interactions and new contracts accurately; maintain comprehensive records of sales activities.
• Customer Relations: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
• Issue Resolution: Work to resolve technical and customer issues efficiently, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, exhibits, and demonstrations.
• Product Monitoring: Keep track of new product developments and provide feedback to management.
• Territory Management: Report significant territory changes that could impact company success.
• Order Fulfillment: Ensure equipment is delivered as ordered and in a timely manner.
• Credit Management: Collaborate with the Credit Manager to resolve any credit or payment issues.
