Job summary

Linder Turf & Tractor is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to grow and manage our agricultural and construction equipment customer base in North Carolina. You will drive sales, nurture relationships, and ensure high customer satisfaction through product knowledge and effective problem solving.

Responsibilities include prospecting, presenting product benefits, maintaining records of sales activities, coordinating financing options, and representing the company at industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in agricultural/construction sales with equipment sales preferred.
• Strong time management, written communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and sales: identify new sales prospects and assess how products meet their needs.
• Presentations: showcase benefits of agricultural and construction products to potential customers.
• Product knowledge: stay informed about full product line and updates.
• Market awareness: monitor competitive products and trends within the territory.
• Financing options: stay current with financing options and assist customers in understanding them.
• Data management: document customer interactions and contracts; maintain records of sales activities.
• Customer relations: develop and nurture long-term relationships with customers.
• Issue resolution: resolve technical and customer issues efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
• Industry engagement: represent the company at events, exhibits, and demonstrations.
• Product monitoring: track new product developments and provide feedback to management.
• Territory management: report significant territory changes.
• Order fulfillment: ensure equipment is delivered as ordered and timely.
• Credit management: collaborate with the Credit Manager to resolve credit or payment issues.
