Qualifications

• College degree (or equivalent experience) and 5–10 years of agri business underwriting.
• Experience writing small to medium sized business and middle-market risks.
• Completion of technical insurance coursework preferred (AFIS, CPCU, AU, ARM, CIC).

Responsibilities

• Underwrite small to middle market agri business risks in a defined territory.
• Build strong agency relationships to develop new business and retain renewals.
• Mentor and guide underwriting standards and procedures.
• Perform production calls and evaluate complex risks.
