CAVA seeks an Assistant General Manager to support daily restaurant operations, budgeting, and team development at our Waco location. You will partner with the General Manager to drive profitability and guest satisfaction while upholding our values and standards.

You will lead scheduling, training, and performance feedback, ensuring high service levels and compliance with safety regulations. This role offers growth within a fast-growing brand.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role within foodservice or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Demonstrates generosity, inclusivity, and responsive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and scheduling.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and coach Team Members, providing feedback and development.
• Support with staffing, forecasting, and labor management.
• Address Team Member issues and conflicts to maintain a positive environment.
• Enhance guest experience and customer satisfaction through service excellence.
• Support financial reporting, cash handling, and adherence to budgets.
• Oversee food safety practices and training, plus routine operational records.
