Klickitat County Washington is seeking a Senior Services-Aging & Disability Resource Specialist in White Salmon, WA. This full-time, non-exempt role offers a 40-hour work week, grade 37, steps 1-5, and a pay range of $23.29–$26.20 per hour, DOQ.

Primary duties include providing information and referrals to older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers, and coordinating access to community resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and two years of direct experience in human services or extended coursework and four years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides information by phone, email, mail, and in-person to the public and professionals about programs and resources for older adults, the disabled, and caregivers.
• Coordinates information delivery to seniors and maintains resource communications with local networks.
• Assists clients with forms, service applications, and scheduling; conducts screening and eligibility determinations where applicable.
• Assists with enrollment in Medicare-related programs and related benefits; conducts outreach and advocacy for clients.
