Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Wayne County Area Agency on Aging seeks an Aging Case Aide 2 to support seniors with information, services, and outreach. You will conduct home visits, assist with program coordination, and ensure accurate records while working a standard 8–4 schedule on weekdays.

The role emphasizes essential job functions, background checks, and meeting residency requirements for PA residents. Telework is not offered for this position.

Qualifications

• PA residency required; follow Residency Guidelines.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• CPS Law: clearance including PA State Police, PA Child Abuse history, and FBI fingerprints.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and assistance on Medicare, PACE, LIHEAP and related programs.
• Help older adults complete forms and connect with resources.
• Conduct home visits and participate in countywide outreach activities.
• Assist with senior center events, volunteer supervision, and participant assessments.
• Support meal distribution, sanitation procedures, and donation documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and complete data entry in agency and statewide systems.
