Job summary

BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking Agile IT Programmers for PA, MD, and DE regions in a full-time hybrid role. You will work 2+ on-site days weekly at PA/MD/DE locations, covering core hours and 8-hour days within 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET.

You’ll deliver software across the full SDLC, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with security and accessibility standards. Core hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with flexibility per agency requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field.
• 3–5+ years’ software development experience across languages (C#, Java, Python, JS).
• Experience with SDLC, code reviews, and Git-based configuration management.
• Experience designing interfaces (REST/GraphQL) and working on estimation/RAID.

Responsibilities

• Deliver software across the full SDLC using Agile practices.
• Design and implement APIs/web services and data integrations.
• Develop and optimize performance; code reviews and release readiness.
• Mentor teammates and collaborate with analysts, QA, and infra.
