Job summary

OCH Technologies, LLC is seeking a Product Owner to support the Technical Project Manager in Scrum; backlog management; and roadblock prevention. You will bridge stakeholders and the development team, defining priorities aligned with project goals and ensuring impediments are resolved quickly.

The ideal candidate has hands-on software development experience and strong Agile understanding, plus a PMP certification and ability to hold a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Math, or Science or related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in Product Owner or similar Agile role.
• Two+ years' experience with software development lifecycle including coding, code review, technical design, or other direct participation.
• Two+ years of experience working in a Government Contracting environment.
• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives).
• Experience prioritizing product backlog using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Experience translating stakeholder requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Experience identifying, escalating, and resolving impediments that affect velocity and delivery.
• PMP Certification (License/Certification).
• Secret Clearance eligibility/ability to maintain.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog in coordination with stakeholders and PM.
• Write and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Identify and remove roadblocks and escalate when necessary.
• Serve as liaison between development team and stakeholders for daily activities and priorities.
• Monitor sprint health metrics and provide visibility into progress and risks.
• Support release planning, scope management, and schedule alignment with milestones.
• Help develop project documentation and lifecycle artifacts.
• Contribute technical perspectives to solution design discussions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and adjust Agile practices.
