Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Scrum Master to serve as a servant-leader and Agile coach, enabling team and value stream effectiveness through Kanban principles. The role emphasizes delivery flow, impediment removal, and collaboration to realize business outcomes.

The position allows a hybrid schedule across U.S. office locations. Ideal candidates bring extensive experience in cross-team coordination, Scrum/Agile frameworks, and a coaching mindset. Certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• PSM I / PSM II, CSM / A-CSM / Kanban or SAFe Scrum Master certifications preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience coordinating across teams or delivering at scale.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate team and value stream ceremonies (stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Identify and remove impediments that limit team or value stream effectiveness.
• Foster transparency, collaboration, accountability, and psychological safety for continuous improvement.
• Enable effective work intake, refinement, and prioritization with TPMs and QA Leads, aligned to value-driven outcomes.
• Shield teams from external disruption while promoting stakeholder engagement and alignment.
• Track Agile metrics (cycle time, WIP, throughput) to support learning and improvement.
• Coordinate across teams within the value stream to improve end-to-end delivery.
