Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is offering a program for graduates in Mining, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Business Management to join and learn through hands-on experience in aggregate operations.

You will assist in daily production, ensure compliance with safety standards, and participate in special projects across Mine Planning, Quality Control, and maintenance, including operating heavy equipment.

Qualifications

  • Graduating seniors with a degree in Mining, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Business Management or internal candidates pursuing leadership roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and demonstrate flexibility.
  • Commitment to safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a defined program where you can apply your knowledge, experience, and education.
  • Assist in managing daily operations of aggregate production.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Engage in special projects that vary in scope and size, working alongside managers.
  • Learn all aspects of managing a quarry or sand & gravel operation, including Mine Planning, Operations Optimization, Quality Control, Sales, Maintenance, Operating Heavy Equipment, Safety, and more.

Pay Range: $68,550.00 - $91,409.99

What You'll Be Doing
  • Participate in a defined program where you can apply your knowledge, experience, and education.
  • Assist in managing daily operations of aggregate production.

  • Learn all aspects of managing a quarry or sand & gravel operation, including Mine Planning, Operations Optimization, Quality Control, Sales, Maintenance, Operating Heavy Equipment, Safety, and more.
