Job summary

Amrize is recruiting for a day shift position in the North American operations. The role involves supporting production with a range of tools and equipment, performing maintenance on crushing equipment and conveyors, and ensuring safety policies are followed on site.

Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems, plus welding, fabrication, and routine upkeep of equipment. A High School or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Uses a variety of tools and equipment to support production operations.
• Aggregate plant skilled labor welder involves installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of portable crushing equipment and conveyors.
• Responsible to install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls.
• Maintenance Welders will position machinery and parts during installation, setup and repair of machinery.
• Operate machine tools such as drills and grinders to fabricate parts.
• Troubleshooting: maintain and inspect machinery to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
• Maintenance: adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
• Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety and environmental policies; promote safety culture.
