Job summary

Mercanis seeks an Agentic AI Engineer to design, build, and optimize agentic AI systems that automate procurement workflows and power intelligent decision-making across our platform. You will work with Python, LangGraph, and AWS, integrating models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and AWS Bedrock.

This role offers flexible remote work in Spain or hybrid work in Berlin, with a collaborative, distributed team and opportunities to influence architecture and performance of AI systems.

Qualifications

• Proven Python software development experience.
• Experience building AI-driven or agentic systems (LangGraph or similar).
• Strong understanding of LLMs and API/data integration.
• Hands-on with OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock or similar providers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimize agentic AI systems for procurement workflows.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and ensure scalable, maintainable code.
• Integrate and fine-tune models from leading providers and deploy on AWS.
