Mercanis is building the Agentic AI Procurement Suite to power tomorrow's procurement with digital, transparent, and intelligent capabilities. We are seeking an experienced Agentic AI Engineer to design and optimize agentic AI systems that automate procurement workflows and drive strategic decisions.

You will work with Python, LangGraph, and AWS, integrating models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and AWS Bedrock, and collaborating with distributed teams to deliver scalable, observable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong Python software development experience.
• Proven background in AI-driven or agentic systems.
• Solid understanding of LLMs and API/structured data integration.
• Hands-on with providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or AWS Bedrock.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize agentic AI systems for procurement workflows.
• Integrate and fine-tune models from leading providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock).
• Collaborate with distributed teams to deploy scalable AI solutions.
• Ensure observability, metrics, and benchmarking for AI components.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based deployment on AWS.
• Implement and extend MCP servers or agent-to-agent patterns (bonus).
• Stay ahead of AI tech trends and performance optimization.
