You will negotiate protocols, form coalitions, and represent OpenAI in standard-setting forums while ensuring alignment with product and security roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical standards or open-source governance settings.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive a focused workstream for agent standards (identity, discovery, delegation).
• Lead collaboration with security, product, and legal teams to translate architecture into credible specifications.
• Represent OpenAI in priority venues and coalitions (IETF, OAuth, NIST, ISO).
• Develop reusable playbooks, decision records, and handoffs to reduce key-person risk.
