Job summary

The Ben Charney Agency | Farmers Insurance in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Agent in Training to join our growing team. You will build relationships with clients, connect with prospects, and prepare quotes while educating customers on Auto, Home, Life, and Business insurance.

You’ll receive paid training, ongoing coaching, and mentorship through the University of Farmers, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission and bonuses.

The Ben Charney Agency is looking for a motivated Agent in Training to join our growing Grand Rapids team. If you’re driven, coachable, and enjoy working with people, we’ll provide the training and support to help you build a successful insurance career.

No Insurance Experience Is Required.

What You’ll Do

• Build relationships with new and existing clients
• Connect with prospects through leads, referrals, and outbound calls
• Prepare quotes and recommend insurance solutions based on each client’s needs
• Educate customers on Auto, Home, Life, Business, and Specialty Insurance
• Follow up consistently and work toward individual and agency sales goals

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to be coached
• Self-motivation, dependability, and consistent follow-up
• Sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required
• A current Property and Casualty Insurance License or willingness to obtain one
