Job summary

Jason Anglin Agency in Chesterfield, MI, part of Farmers Insurance, is seeking an Agent in Training. Base salary plus uncapped commissions with hands-on mentorship and growth potential in a structured program.

You’ll learn how to build a sales career in insurance, using leads and marketing support to connect with customers, quote coverage, and grow into leadership roles within the agency.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working toward measurable goals.
• Confidence speaking with customers by phone and in person.
• Persistence and the ability to stay motivated when hearing “no”.
• Coachable, dependable, and willing to learn.
• Sales or customer-facing experience is preferred, but not required.
• Active Michigan insurance licensing is a plus, or willingness to complete required licensing.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Ask questions to understand each customer’s needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
• Prepare quotes and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and manage your sales pipeline.
• Build long-term customer relationships that generate retention and referrals.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional coverage.
• Work toward individual and agency sales goals.
• Continue developing your insurance knowledge and sales skills through ongoing coaching and training.
