Job summary

Steadily Insurance Company in the Kansas City metro area is hiring an Agency Support Specialist to join our Client Experience team in Overland Park, KS. This full-time, in-office role delivers high-volume support, guiding agents through portal quoting, underwriting actions, and endorsements while ensuring exceptional service.

You will respond to inquiries from independent agencies, coordinate with Underwriting and Agency Success Managers, and manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-focused role with excellent communication skills.
• Quick to learn new tools and systems; comfortable navigating multiple platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently until fully resolved.
• Ability to manage a large workload and thrive under pressure.
• Preferred (not required): 1+ years in a customer service or contact center role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support for independent agencies, answering questions about appetite, quoting in the agent portal, underwriting requests, and processing endorsements and billing requests.
• Respond to high volume inbound calls, chats, and emails from agents regarding quotes and active policies.
• Partner with Agency Success Managers to support growth and success of the independent agency channel; surface concerns and escalate feedback.
• Partner with Underwriting to communicate underwriting actions to agents and support resolution of risk.
• Perform clerical or administrative tasks related to agency support as needed.
