Role Description

The Agency Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Palmdale, CA. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with employers, benefits administrators, and employees to promote Colonial Life’s portfolio of workplace insurance solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting new business, conducting sales presentations, and supporting enrollment activities to help organizations implement and manage benefit programs. The Agency Sales Representative collaborates closely with local and regional sales teams, responds to client inquiries, and provides ongoing service to ensure client satisfaction and retention. The position requires consistent in-person engagement, including meetings, presentations, and community networking within the Palmdale area.

Qualifications

• Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to identify client needs, present solutions, and close sales opportunities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage employers, HR teams, and employees in person and over the phone.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts, follow up on leads, and meet sales targets.
• Basic proficiency with digital tools and CRM systems to track prospects, manage pipelines, and prepare reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively with local agency teams while taking initiative and operating with a high degree of independence.
• Comfort with on-site client visits and community networking in the Palmdale, CA area.
