Job summary

CURE Auto Insurance is seeking an Agency Support Representative to act as the primary liaison between CURE and our insurance agency partners, providing real-time support and ensuring smooth policy administration. The role includes handling LiveChat, phone, and email inquiries, while learning underwriting guidelines and processing updates.

Hybrid work arrangement with onsite and remote flexibility; NJ-based location in Princeton.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior auto insurance experience preferred but not required; customer service background can be a plus.
• Skills: Strong verbal communication, time management, multitasking abilities, and an eagerness to learn and grow.
• Licensing: A New Jersey Insurance Producer License is a plus (licensing/training provided by the company)

Responsibilities

• Deliver LiveChat, telephone, and email assistance to address agent inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Learn and maintain a comprehensive understanding of underwriting guidelines, products, and systems; process and audit poly updates, payment adjustments, and related administrative tasks.
• Conduct agent refresher courses and help develop training manuals, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Partner with internal teams to document processes, improve operational workflows, and assist with agency department initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Agency Support Representative acts as a primary liaison between CURE and our insurance agency partners providing real-time support, underwriting processing, and ongoing education to ensure smooth policy administration and product implementation.

Essential Job Functions :

• Agency Support: Deliver LiveChat, telephone, and email assistance to address agent inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly
• Underwriting & Processing: Learn and maintain a comprehensive understanding of CURE's underwriting guidelines, products, and systems. Accurately process and audit poly updates, payment adjustments, and related administrative tasks.
• Education & Training: Conduct agent refresher courses and help develop training manuals, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Collaboration & Projects: Partner with internal teams to document processes, improve operational workflows, and assist with agency department initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Actions/Environment : Required job duties consist of prompt and regular attendance, ability to frequently move about the office to coordinate work with others; standing, sitting and typing for extended periods; and lifting and/or carrying up to 5 lbs. Ability to frequently communicate with others in-person, on the phone/virtually, and in writing. Ability to read, understand, process and evaluate large amounts of technical information and make related, informed decisions.

Starting Salary: $27-$31 hourly based on experience

Schedule: We offer flexible work hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with options like 8–4, 8:30–4:30, or 9–5. We do our best to support individual preferences, though schedules may be adjusted as needed to ensure strong coverage and teamwork.

We also offer a hybrid schedule: team members work onsite four days a week and can work remotely one day a week.
