Job summary

The San Antonio Food Bank INC seeks an experienced leader to strengthen and grow the partner agency network. You will oversee fair distribution of TEFAP, donated and purchased food, while training partners for success.

Responsibilities include onboarding new agencies, ensuring compliance with TDA and Feeding America, auditing files, and managing data dashboards to measure progress across the network.

Qualifications

• Coursework non-profit management, public affairs, program management, business administration, social work or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in food banking, non-profit work, social services, account management, public health, education, education administration, government or civic programs.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar role with knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and distribution.
• Experience supervising regular full-time paid staff with training, supervision, motivation, and delegation.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and orient new partner agencies, aligning with the mission and values.
• Help partner agencies increase capacity and connect neighbors with nutrition, benefits, and job services.
• Create and run training workshops; implement a network retention plan to reduce turnover.
• Collaborate with Feeding America network to share best practices.
• Maintain compliance policies for Food Bank, Feeding America, and TDA; ensure food safety and inventory handling.
• Audit and update agency files, licenses, inspections, and permits.
• Monitor agency distribution to ensure fair access.
• Write and update SOPs for Agency Relations team for safety and efficiency.
• Lead the Service Insights on MealConnect and extensions across the org.
• Maintain agency data dashboard and demographic data on clientele.
• Research community service gaps to tailor distribution plans.
• Supervise warehouse coordinators to ensure productivity and KPI attainment.
• Provide coaching and feedback to ensure audit readiness.
• Support internal departments with community events.
