Main Purpose of Job

This position functions as the Agency Fleet and Facilities Maintenance Coordinator as well as provides administrative to the Local General Administration Department.

POSITION DUTIES

Fleet Administration Has daily hands on responsibility for Agency Fleet vehicles. Maintains agency vehicles in a safe, clean, and sanitary manner. Manages and oversees fleet reservations and vehicle key distribution. Facilities Management Acts as the liaison between agency and landlord for any facility maintenance needs. Keeps facilities maintenance logs up to date. Administrative Support Functions. Purchases supplies using issued corporate credit cards as directed. Coordinates meetings, takes minutes, updates documents as needed for Agency Risk Management and Emergency Shelter. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must meet all minimum (and selective) qualifications to be considered, and to appear on the list of people eligible for hire. Please read all requirements before applying. Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. Experience: Two years of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work. Notes: 1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year of the required experience. 2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to applicantswho possess the following preferred qualification(s).Include clear and specific information on your application regardingyour qualifications. Six months of experience with Fleet Management. Six months of experience with Database Programs. Six months of experience utilizing Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Six months of experience interacting with internal and external customers.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.

For education obtained outside the U.S., a copy of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service is required prior to hire.
