Horizon Education Centers is seeking a Licensed School-Based Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year at CMSD Clara E. Westropp Elementary School in Cleveland, OH.

This full-time role oversees before/after school programming, staff supervision, and budget management within Horizon parameters. You will collaborate with school personnel, lead lesson planning support, ensure compliance with licensing and Step Up to Quality, and drive enrollment and attendance goals while maintaining

Qualifications

• An associate’s degree or higher is required in education or a related field; experience with education is preferred.
• Must adapt quickly to changing environments and assignments.
• Has ability to build positive relationships with coworkers, families, vendors, and the community.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must multitask with strong detail-oriented, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate before and after school programming within the partner school.
• Maintain collaborative relationship with site principal and personnel; regular meetings required.
• Identify and organize program spaces with school personnel; ensure spaces are clean and organized.
• Demonstrate knowledge of child care licensing rules.
• Maintain Gold level for Step Up to Quality.
• Data collection and record keeping for CACFP, licensing, and Step Up to Quality.
• Recruitment, hiring, supervision and development of all staff, onboarding, payroll, and schedules.
• Manage site budget and ordering within Horizon’s parameters.
• Ensure customer satisfaction; maintain enrollment and attendance percentages.
• Handle monthly finances: tuition collection by the 15th; review attendance; manage enrollment files.
