Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of Clifton, Inc. seeks a part-time School Site Coordinator to lead and oversee multiple after-school programs located in Clifton Public Elementary Schools.

The role reports to the Program Director of School-Based Clubs and focuses on safe, engaging youth development with strong family and school partnerships. Responsibilities include program leadership, curriculum quality, licensing compliance, staff coaching, and community collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year/ four-year degrees considered a plus.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in licensed childcare or youth programs.
• Experience supervising, coaching, and developing staff.
• Knowledge of child and youth development and positive behavior management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Must complete background checks and health clearances; valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of daily operations for multiple school-based programs.
• Support Program Director in implementing and improving hands-on learning aligned with best practices.
• Conduct site observations to ensure quality and inclusive learning environments.
• Monitor performance and recommend improvements for engagement and effectiveness.
• Ensure licensing compliance and maintain necessary documentation.
• Onboard, supervise, schedule, and evaluate site staff; coach and develop team.
• Build partnerships with families, schools, and community organizations.
• Represent the organization professionally in schools and communities.
• Promote safety, emergency procedures, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
