Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is seeking a Site Director for the Afterschool Program at the Mid Valley Family YMCA in Van Nuys, CA. The role focuses on program development, safety, parent communication, licensing compliance, staff development and budgeting to ensure high-quality youth services.

The site leader will supervise staff, coordinate curriculum and activities, and maintain strong relationships with children, families and the broader Y community while upholding core values and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with coursework in child development and administration.
• 4 years of teaching experience in group child care or equivalent.
• Current First Aid, CPR (Adult/Child/Infant) and PHP vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enrollment goals and ensure licensing compliance.
• Maintain attendance records and daily logs including sign-in/out and PCG reports.
