Job summary

Think Together is seeking a part-time Program Leader to work in California school sites in person. The role involves supervising a group of 20–25 students, providing homework help and enrichment, and upholding safety and positive behavior standards. Strong English skills and patience are essential; bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Pay is $24/hour with a focus on mentoring students and maintaining a nurturing classroom environment in partnership with school staff and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• District-specific units (48 semester/60 quarter) or pass pre-employment test.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
• Must pass Live Scan background check (fingerprinting).
• Provide negative TB test dated within the last 3 years.
• At least six months experience working with a group of 10+ students.
• Advanced Math and English skills (K–8).
• Bi-literate (Spanish preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students in an in-person setting with high behavior and safety standards.
• Provide homework assistance and academic enrichment using program materials.
• Assist daily with snack prep, serving and cleanup; support site setup and maintenance.
• Maintain student safety by taking roll and reviewing sign-in/sign-outs; communicate needs to Site Program Manager.
• Participate in staff development and foster a positive learning environment.
